Vidya Rayappa is an Insights Specialist, Storyteller and Entrepreneur. She is passionate about understanding people in their relevant context and working closely with marketeers to action insights for impact.
She has close to 30 years of experience working with local, regional and global companies spanning various sectors (food & beverages, beauty & care, luxury goods, real estate, shopper & retail, e-commerce, public sector, education, media, automotive, ). and geographies in the Middle East & Africa region. She has gained a lot of expertise in uncovering consumer & market insights and partnering with marketers to ignite growth for their brands.
Vidya delivers value through a deep understanding of people & culture, trend spotting and connecting the dots thereby helping brands to curate their stories. She has a vast experience in Consumer Immersion programs, Ethnography and leading Ideation Workshops. She has also had the experience of working on strategic consumer understanding studies in the region and has a keen interest in innovative and techniques/ methodologies. She has lived in Saudi Arabia for 5 years and interacted with local people which has contributed to her deeper understanding of the Saudi consumer.
She had worked at TNS Middle East, a global research company, heading their Qualitative division and had also served on their Senior Management Team. At TNS, she led some path breaking initiatives like Arab as a Consumer, What women want, Shabab Tek, etc.
She joined 4SiGHT UAE as a partner in 2013 and has contributed to building an organization that boasts of a diverse portfolio of clients, passionate & talented pool of consultants, a growing geographical footprint, latest tech-enable solutions and an insatiable hunger for growth.
She believes that all successful organizations should integrate Human insights with Business Strategy, and has extensive experience working as a Trusted Advisor with her clients.
She has presented at several conferences like ESOMAR, Youth Marketing Forum, GMR Conference, and she has also received many awards for Research Excellence.
