Vidya Rayappa, has over 20 years of experience in marketing research and consulting, specialized in Qualitative research and Consumer Insights.
Vidya has worked for over 18 years in the Middle East including 5 years based out of Saudi Arabia. She has worked with a global research company heading their Qualitative unit and served on the Senior Management Team of the company.
She has worked across sectors and is passionate about understanding consumers in their relevant context. She has championed path breaking Consumer Connect initiatives in the region especially markets like Saudi Arabia (Panels, Workshops, Photo Diaries, Ethnography, ‘Day-in-the-life-of’, Digital ethnographies, etc.). She is proficient in conducting Consumer Immersion sessions and workshops She has also had the experience of working on strategic consumer understanding studies in the region and has a keen interest in developing innovative techniques/ methodologies.
She has presented at several conferences like ESOMAR, Youth Marketing Forum, GMR Conference. She is also the recipient of regional awards for Research Excellence. She is MBA specialized in Marketing.
