An exploratory qualitative research study among youth to understand their attitudes and behaviour towards earning and saving money, and the need and importance of financial education to them and to know their feedback on new youth propositions as well as their suggestions for youth banking products and features.
Desk research on youth financial literacy and its trends globally.
Design: Mini focus group discussions with Youth in the age group of 18-24 years old. Males and Females. Students/ university grads from top tier local or international universities and new employees who have just started their careers in top/reputable companies
The research helped the client to further develop their new youth banking propositions. It identified the importance of educating youth on financial matters, youth’s attitude and behaviour towards money, the role banking plays in their lives etc.
It generated ideas and concepts of preferred banking products like youth investment plans, youth financial assistance app, youth credit card with special features etc.
The research helped launch new financial education initiatives/ awareness programmes for youth.
